The Oman Environmental Services Holding Company "be'ah" took over the duties of solid waste management in the Sultanate of Oman and has devoted its attention to implementing the highest environmental standards to ensure sustainability and high level of service in line with international standards of solid waste management.
This system aims to establish and develop the work of collection, transportation and treatment of used tires and batteries by reduceing their environmental impact.
Fees are applied on imported tires and lead acid batteries starting from 1st of September 2021.
